  JOSEPH P. PUZZUOLI, P.C.


 

Joseph P. Puzzuoli is a member of the firm of Puzzuoli, Hribar, Iafrate, Majerowicz, Gaber, Seay, Jansen & Kohler located at 16931 Nineteen Mile Rd., #100, Clinton Township, Michigan.  Many of the attorneys in the firm have been practicing law together since 1970, originally in the City of Eastpointe.

Mr. Puzzuoli is a graduate of the University of Detroit and Detroit College of Law obtaining his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1966.  He is an A.V. Rated Martindale-Hubbel Law Director Attorney.  He is further a Past President of the Macomb County Bar Association after having served on the board of Directors of that Association for many years.  He is also a Director of the Macomb County Bar Foundation, Past-President of the Italian American Lawyers of Michigan and is a Mediator for the Macomb County Circuit Court on both the Negligence Panel, as well as on domestic cases.  Mr. Puzzuoli has acted as a Facilitator and Arbitrator for nearly all of the Macomb County Circuit Court Judges, as well as Judges in Wayne and Oakland Counties.  He has also served in that capacity for private litigants on complex stockholder corporate disputes, general business disputes and on domestic cases.  He is a member of the State of Michigan Attorney discipline Board as a Hearing panel member and further, a member of the Character and Fitness Committee of the State Bar of Michigan serving in District E.

Mr. Puzzuoli has served as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Eastpointe since 1977 and has further been special counsel to the City of Roseville and the City of St. Clair Shores, as well as having been the attorney for the Eastpointe Downtown Development Authority.

His practice consists of being general counsel for various mid-size Michigan Corporations, including numerous construction companies and industrial corporations.  His practice focuses on corporate and business matters, real estate, contract law, estate planning, criminal law and domestic law.

John J. Puzzuoli has practiced with the law firm for 11 years. His practice is focused on criminal law, including a substantial amount of juvenile case work.  He also does domestic and family law, as well as general litigation and entertainment law.

All of the attorneys practicing in this group possess the highest academic and ethical credentials.  Most of the attorneys live in the nearby surrounding communities and maintain strong community ties, as well as strong professional relationships.  Four (4) of the firms members have been Presidents of the local Bar Association and many continue to serve on the Board in various capacities.  Several of the members are regular speakers on a variety of legal subjects in seminars sponsored by various legal and business organizations.
